Church News 

The Church in Drumsna will be open each day from morning until evening . There will be Mass on Thursday October 27th  at 10am.  .Altar Society for October Geraldine Monaghan Thanks is extended to Father Mark Bennett for celebrating Mass with us last Thursday

Church Envelopes.

The envelopes for the weekly Church collection can now be collected by any Parish Council member for deliverance or you may come to St. Mary’s Annaduff Church and collect your own which will be the same number as last year.

Annaduff G.A.A. 50/50 draw.

The Annaduff  G.A.A.50/50 draw took place at on Sunday last at Pairc Sean MacDiarmada with Alan Glancy pulling  the winning ticket which was ticket no.275  and  The winner was Leo Cox who won 250  Euro  congratulations to Leo. Next week’s draw is  in Drumsna  at 5pm on Sunday October 30th. If you’re not in you cant win!

Bingo.

Bingo continues in the community Centre Drumsna each Thursday night with doors open at 7.30pm and commencement at 8pm sharp. Come along and enjoy the fun.

Golden Age Meeting.

There will be a Golden Age Meeting in the Centre on next Thursday November 3rd at 11am. Please note  the change of day/date. This meeting is also the A.G.M. Due to covid this is our first A.G.M. in a number of years. All members are requested to attend. New members are always welcome.

Sympathy.

Sympathy is extended to the following on their recent sad bereavements.

To Sarah and Paul Garvey, Liscolvin on the death of their baby daughter Riadh also to her little sister and brother, her grandparents Pat and Ken Mc Manus Jamestown , Geraldine and Martin Garvey, Hillstreet, great grandmother Mary Mc Shera, aunts uncle relatives and friends. Burial took place in Jamestown cemetery.

To Mae Flaherty, Ann Walsh, Sister Mazarello, nephews Anthony and Shane ,brother-in-law Tony on the death of their beloved sister Margaret Butler ( Nee Clyne ), Charlestown who was predeceased by her husband Willie, her parents and her brother Sean,  the late Margaret was interred in Jamestown cemetery after her funeral Mass in Dangan on Thursday.

To Meave Guckian, Ardcarne daughters Beryl and Christina, sons-in-law grandchildren , sister relatives and friends on the death of Tommy Guckian . The late Tommy was interred in Ardcarne cemetery after his funeral Mass in Coothall.

May their souls rest in peace .Amen.

Congratulations

Congratulations are extended to Edwina Guckian Correish on being chosen as Leitrim Guardian person of the year 2023. It is a most fitting tribute to an all round woman.

Dance classes.

Social dance classes take place every Wednesday night in Fenagh hall at 8.30 pm until 10pm, waltz , quick step etc. All welcome.

Raise.

Raise will hold the following fundraising events over this October Bank holiday weekend in Drumshanbo. Friday October 28th Table quiz in Gunnings, Saturday 29th 10am-4pm car wash at Drumsnabo fire brigade.Guess by Lough vintage club Sunday 30th 3pm charity walk from the Mayflower, 9pm 70s/80s night in Berrys ,high street. Raffle prizes on the night also win a tractor load of turf worth 500 Euro, 10 euro per ticket or three for 20 Euro Draw will take place live on face book on Friday November 4th at 9pm. Entries can be paid using www.donate.ie/raffle/raiseturfraffle or you can send a private message to raise face book page. All proceeds go to Leitrim calling. South Leitrim special Olympics and Childhood days Drumshanbo.

Christmas Market.

Dromod Christmas Market takes place in the former knickaty knack shop on the 4th, 5th. 6th, 11th, 12th, 13th, of November, two weekends only Fridays 4th and 11th November 10am-7pm. Saturdays 5th and 12th of November 10am-7pm. Sunday s the 6th and 13th   November12 noon -6pm. Lots of Christmas gifts, toys ,perfume, clothes, candles, hampers, books and lots more.
