 The Church in Drumsna will be open each day from morning until evening for private prayer. Today February 17th is Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent 2021.

Golden Age Group.

Hello Friends , The weeks are flying by.  Today is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent , Hopefully by Easter most of us will have had our first vaccine and looking forward to getting the second one.  We hope that the snow is gone away and that Spring will come along . Little did we think this time last year when we heard about the Corona virus that it would affect us here in Ireland. How wrong we were, but with common sense prevailing we will get though it Please God.  In the meantime stay safe ,keep in touch.

Light up Leitrim.

Light up Leitrim every Friday evening by putting a candle or tealight safely in your window for  those who are fighting covid 19 for those who have lost their lives and to honour our heroic heroes the doctors ,nurses and all workers on the front line. May God bless them .

Annaduff G.A.A, 50/50 Draw.

The 50/50  Annaduff G.A.A.  draw was held at  the Quayside in Drumsna on  St. Valentine’s Day Sunday February 14th with James Faughnan presiding, The winning ticket  was pulled by  Maggie Rowley the previous week’s winner.  The  Ticket number was 210 and the winner was[CG1]  Geraldine Thornton.  Congratulations to  Geraldine  who won 270 Euro  Euro .   The next draw  on Sunday February 21st    will also be in Drumsna due to Covid 19 travel restrictions. Thanks is extended to James, Barry, Niall ,Kevin, Maggie and to all who bought the tickets, stay safe.

Living Well.

Due to current Covid restrictions  the free Living Well programme date for 2021 have added extra dates for February.Thursday  18th February, Monday 22nd February and Tuesday 23rd February. If you are living with a long term health condition, this is for you. More now than ever it is important to look after our mental and physical health. New Course.

There is a  new course starting at Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre : one morning per week, Beginners’ course –1hr Using the Internet and sending emails: learning online courses—digital learning—Zoom. Getting familiar with information, Technology, confidence in using online services for everyday use, i.e. Banking online. The course is organised by MSLETB and is free. Leitrim Callout.

In Lieu of Leitrim Fleadh Cheol 2021,  Comhaltas have set us the task of showcasing the culture, music, traditions and beauty of our County in a film which will be shown by Comhaltas Branches around the World. We are making a call out for material that represents all areas of Leitrim- – past and present- that you would be happy for us to include in the film. There may be footage of concerts, fairs, musicians, your town from years back, sporting events. This could be in visual format and music recordings.
