Church News
The Church in Drumsna will be open each morning until evening. Sunday Mass in Annaduff at 11am Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception Drumsna on Thursday Morning at 10am . Social Distancing applies and Holy Communion is to be taken into the hand only. There is seating for 36 and a loudspeaker outside for anyone wishing to sit in their car. Holy Communion will be brought out to these people, just let the ushers know. There will be a basket at the door of the Church in Drumsna where the Sunday dues can be placed, Please wear a face covering. These Mass times are up for review in a few weeks time .As most of our Ministers of the Word here in Drumsna are at work on a Thursday morning we would be grateful if those that are available would please give in their name to Colleen. Thanks is extended to Father Seamus O’Rourke who celebrated Mass with us here on Thursday last.

With everything that is going on and the rise in Cases of covid 19 we may not meet for a while yet The rules seem to change each week. Annaduff G. A. A. club have launched a weekly 50/50 draw fundraiser. Each 50/50 entry costs two Euro or three entries for five Euro. Play online at Annaduff g.a.a.iefifty last Sunday ‘s draw was at Gill’s Tyre Service , the ticket was pulled by Gerry and the winner was Mairead Mc Huch, Drumcree the prize money was 250 Euro .Congratulations to Mairead. The next live draw on Sunday September 20th is at Angela Neary And Co, Accountants Dromod. Well done to all concerned in the live draw. Remember if you are not in you can’t win. Good luck to Annaduff in the final on Saturday September 26th.

Living Well/
If you are living with a long term health condition you may be interested in doing the living well programme, This is a six week programme delivered in 2.5 hour weekly sessions where you learn new skills to manage your health condition on a day to day basis. Now more than ever it is important we look after our mental and physical health, Full training will be given to all participants in using the online platform. Please note that you do not have to disclose your health condition on the programme. The living well next programme dates are 9th, 14th, 22nd of September and 2nd of November. Drumsna Community and Resource Centre have decided to go ahead with the coffee morning/evening for this worthwhile charity which touches so many of our lives. It is on September 24th from 2pm until 4pm. There will be a one way system in place and a maximum of six visitors allowed at any one time. We will be using disposable cups and Covid 19regulations will be adhered to. Should you wish to just make a donation but not stay ,we will understand. Thank you in advance , the staff at Drumsna CRC.

On Friday October 22nd we are calling on the North West and beyond to swap their beds for sleeping bags for one night only by taking part in the virtual sleep out for NWS community. While we may not be able to come together in person this year we are calling on friends ,family, colleagues, and team mates to join us virtually ,giving up your usual comforts to spend the night in a unique and powerful way whilst supporting those facing homelessness in the North West. This year now more than ever we need your support as we have had to cancel all our community fund raising efforts which account for 80% 0f the charity income.
