Church News
The Churches in both Drumsna and Annaduff will be open each morning until evening. The social distancing markers are in place in both Churches for when the Masses are resumed in the Parish at a later date.
Golden Age Group.
Hello Friends , hope that you are all well and taking care social distancing etc. Some of us have braved the shopping trip and some of us have not. Wear your mask and keep the social distancing up . If you are on the rural link ( or any other mode of public transport ) it is compulsory to wear the mask . Four months is a long time out of our lives, but at east we are safe ,have food and can walk about and please God we will beat this thing. Keep in touch and we will soon be able to actually see each other. In the meantime stay safe

MABS -COVID 19
During the current covid 19 ( coronavirus ) pandemic MABS have suspended all face to face appointments, this includes outreach appointments. However we are still working on files and progressing cases. If anyone is worried as a result of Covid 19 about their finances or just worried about money , they can contact 076 1072630. Or they can email ballinamore@mabs.ie if you need to speak to a money adviser. We will continue to update our covid 19 information on the MABS website www.mab.ie and the MABS money advise and budget service face book page . Congratulations are extended to two couples in the Parish who recently had the joy of celebrating their Golden Wedding Anniversaries. Congratulations to Maura And John Ward Gortinty who celebrated with their family and to Maura and Michael John Faughnan, Aughamore who also celebrated fifty years of wedded bliss with their family. Well done to all and may I say how well you all are looking and also may I say better late than never with the congratulations! Wishing both couples many more happy years .
National Spring Clean.
Thanks is extended to all the people who came out for the National Spring clean on Saturday. Many of you are taking care of your own patch and keeping the village tidy. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
Annaduff G. A.A.
Annaduff G. A. A. club have launched a weekly 50/50 draw fundraiser. Each 50/50 entry costs two Euro or three entries for five Euro. Play online at Annaduff g.a.a.iefifty This weeks draw took place live at Tiny Tot’s Haven, Dromod on Sunday with Derek Cox pulling out the winning ticket. The prize money this week was two hundred and twenty Euro and the winner was Darren Cox who happened to be present at the draw. Congratulations to Darren and all concerned in the live face book broadcast. The next draw will be live outside the premises of Dromod Boxty on Sunday next July 19th at 5pm. Don’ forget to get your ticket if your not in you cant win.
Sympathy.
Sympathy is extended to Nancy Duignan, Coreen on the unexpected death of her husband Noel Duignan which took place suddenly last week. The late Noel is also survived by his Daughters Shirley and Aislinn, son David and his beloved grandchildren Daniel, Joshua, Noah, Meisha, Caomhin, Fionn, Donnagh, Mureann and Tiernan, brother J.J. ,sisters Mary and Lil, sons -in-law Keelen and Kenny and daughter-in-law Eimear, nieces nephews relatives and friends. The late Noel was interred in St. Mary’s cemetery Annaduff after his funeral Mass on Friday.
May his soul rest in peace. Amen
Our G.A.A. Club is also be collecting used clothes from 10am until 11am each Saturday at the club grounds, so if you are clearing out the wardrobe keep that in mind . Be safe.
Eco-Garden Tours.
With a new pandemic programme , Leitrim Eco-Living is offering one hour guided tours of the food gardens. These are by appointment only, for up to five people at a time starting on June 20th. The wildlife friendly permaculture gardens feature unusual crops, organic growing, composting, no dig raised beds, heritage fruit trees, polytunnels, water conservation, rainwater collection, etc. Seeing all the abundance , visitors may reconsider that this is ‘’poor land ‘’, Location is 5km north of Drumsna .For further information and bookings contact 0719 616254.
