There will be Mass and Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in Drumsna Church on Friday April12th at 7pm.Holy Hour duty Teresa Mc Nulty; John Mc Nulty.

On Good Friday April 19th, The Passion of our Lord will be enacted by local Parishioners  from Garvey’s corner up the hill to the Church. Fourteen Children will stand as the Stations of the Cross while Fr. Wall P.P. celebrates the Passion where we will finish in the Church with the fifteenth Station,  local Parishioners are enacting the passion. Golden Age Meeting.

There will be a meeting of the above in the Centre Drumsna on To-day Wednesday April 10that 11am. All members are requested to attend a rehearsal of the play. Our Annual May Madness Ball takes place in The Bush Hotel on Wednesday May 1stat 8.30pm. There will be light refreshments, a short drama entitled “The last will and Testament of Mary Ellen Browne”, and dancing to the music of the one and only Jimmy Lennon. All welcome.The balance of the June holiday to Salthill is now due.

Co, Leitrim Fleadh, Drumsna 2019

The excitement is building and a great weekend’s entertainment is in store at Leitrim Fleadh which takes place in the village from April 25thto April 28th. Besides competitions there will be numerous other events to entertain everyone. Street entertainment, archive display, pop up sessions, session trail, singing sessions, musical Easter Egg hunt, CD launch, to name but a few! There will be Social Dancing in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge Mohill on Sunday night next April 14thwith dancing to Michael Moran.

Health and Wellbeing.

Annaduff G.A.A. are hosting their first Health and WellbeinTg workshop for secondary school students, boys and girls aged between 13-17 years. This will take place in The Leitrim School of Excellence , Annaduff on Good Friday April 19thfrom 9am until 2pm. This workshop will be an introduction to the many factors affecting your health and wellbeing outside of playing G.A.A. Throughout the morning we will have someexcellent speakers and mentors leading discussions and demonstrations on nutrition-mobility-resilience-coping skills-goal settings and introduction to basic strength training. (suitable for all abilities). This event is open free of charge to all young people of the Drumsna /Annaduff area. Tesco Easter Raffle.

The Tesco Easter Raffle will take place on Saturday April 20thin Tesco Carrick-on-Shannon. All money raised will be split between Temple Street Children’s hospital and the Annaduff, Drumsna, Jamestown defibrillator group. This group have a very hard working committee that have five defibrillators covering these areas, they all have to be maintained etc and the group now hope to raise enough money to get a defibrillator for Dromod village also. Please support this worthy cause.
