At the end of Lent on Good Friday April 19th, The Passion of our Lord will be enacted by local Parishioners from Garvey’s corner up the hill to the Church. Fourteen Children will stand as the Stations of the Cross while Fr. Wall P.P. celebrates the Passion where we will finish in the Church with the fifteenth Station, local Parishioners are enacting the passion.

Golden Age Meeting.
There will be a meeting of the above in the Centre Drumsna on To-day Wednesday April 3rdat 11am. All members are requested to attend a rehearsal of the play. Our Annual May Madness Ball takes place in The Bush Hotel on Wednesday May 1stat 8.30pm. There will be light refreshments, a short drama entitled “The last will and Testament of Mary Ellen Browne”, and dancing to the music of the one and only Jimmy Lennon. All wlcome.

Once again the lovely village of Drumsna is hosting the County Leitrim Fleadh on the weekend of April 26,27,28. Along with the usual competitions Fleadh Mass will take place in The Church of The Immaculate Conception, Drumsna on the Sunday morning of April 28thwhere we will be joined by many of the competitors.

Health and Wellbeing.
Annaduff G.A.A. are hosting their first Health and Wellbeing workshop for secondary school students, boys and girls aged between 13-17 years. This will take place in The Leitrim School of Excellence , Annaduff on Good Friday April 19thfrom 9am until 2pm. This workshop will be an introduction to the many factors affecting your health and wellbeing outside of playing G.A.A. Throughout the morning we will have some excellent speakers and mentors leading discussions and demonstrations on nutrition-mobility-resilience-coping skills-goal settings and introduction to basic strength training. (suitable for all abilities). This event is open free of charge to all young people of the Drumsna /Annaduff area.
