Golden Age meeting.

The next Golden Age Group meeting takes place  in the Centre today Wednesday October 17 at 11am.   Edwina Guckian will continue to guide us through the Steps and movement for December 8th. There will also be a meeting on this day week October 24that 11am. There will be a practise for the Christmas song .The Parochial Christmas Party is fixed for Sunday December 2ndin The Bush Hotel, Carrick with Christmas fare, Music by  Jimmy Lennon and entertainment

Drumsna C.R.C Annual walk

Change of time.

The Drumsna Community and Resource Centre Drumsna is pleased to announce it’s 4thAnnual 5Km family fun run/walk holding their Annual Walk/run/push on Sunday October 21st with registration from 11am and race commencing at 12noon sharp. The change of time is to accommodate the many people travelling to the replay of the Intermediate County final in which Annaduff once again take on Fenagh. Cash prizes will be presented to the winners in the centre afterwards. Refreshments will be served to all participants .This is our only fundraiser event and all proceeds will go towards the Community Resource Centre to help provide even more vital services to the community. Your support will be greatly appreciated.


The A.G.M of Drumsna Community and resource Centre will be held in the Centre on Wednesday 31stOctober at 6.30pm. All are welcome.


Please note the new Winter time of 8.30pm for Bingo in Drumsna . Last week’s winners include Martina Tully, Anne Marie Cox, Patricia O’ Reilly.Free books for Thursday October 18th Martina Tully, Mary Geheran.

Social Dancing in Fitzpatrick’s lounge, Mohill on Sunday night October 21st with music by  with music by Andy Murphy.The Canon Donooe Hall on Thursday night October 18thmusic by Jimmy Hynes, and Dancing will be back in Duignan’s Lounge Drumsna on Bank Holiday Sunday October 28thwith music by Frankie Smyth.

Fitness classes return to Drumsna Community centr the coming Winter.A new timetable with a range of morning and evening options are available to cater for those with busy schedules. DK personal training is running a range of fitness classes suitable for all ages and fitness levels along with options for 1-1 and group personal training within your local area. Sean Nos dance with Edwina and Airc Damhsa in St. Mary’s hall Carrick on Shannon on Thursday for beginners, children 6pm, teenagers 7.30pm.

Set Dancing.

Set dancing for adults starts in St. Joseph’s Hall Leitrim village on Wednesday nights at 8.30pm.Beginners and advanced.

Youth reach Leitrim

Youth reach Leitrim has enrolment for 2018/2019 for 15 to 20 yrs. Are you an early school leaver/ unemployed? Youth Reach Leitrim is based in Mohill and will offer a flexible and dynamic programme of Leaving Cert applied integrated and general education, vocational training and work experience. Students can also apply for a weekly training allowance and travel subsistence. Contact the co-ordinater at 085 1458878 for more details.

Annaduff G.A.A.

Karl Foley’s men have to do it all over again on Sunday next at Pairc Sean Mc Diarmuida, as last Sunday’s Intermediate final ended in a draw.Thanks for the massive support for the team and lets have everyone back again to shout even louder on Sunday next. Our thanks to Cox’s Steak House Dromod for looking after the players afterwards. Massive thanks also to Gerry Boyce and his staff at the Brandywell where we had Annaduff G.AA. ‘’ Up for the Match’’on Saturday night, a great turn out of supporters, former players and speakers, big thank you to our M.P. for the night Donal Fox. The very best of luck to Karl Foley and his team on Sunday. ‘’You can do it ‘’.
