Drumsna/Annaduff Golden age group wish to thank everyone who attended their ‘’May Madness Ball’’ in the Bush Hotel on Tuesday night last . We had over one hundred people who were entertained by the group and were well looked after by David and the staff of The Bush Hotel  and by the music of Jimmy Lennon . Thanks to all the members who helped to keep the ‘’Madness ‘’going. To Bernie and Fred Gill who were Mrs Doyle plus teapot and Fr. Jack plus Whiskey, to Bridget Rooney who was the British prime Mister ,Teresa May searching for the Border,  to Nuala Kennedy with her wonderful display off past prices at Clerys shop in Dublin, to Patricia Kirkland for her portrayal of Molly Malone, To Mary Gilhooly who took off ‘’Bottler ‘’ to a T with many funny stories, to Geraldine Mc Nulty who was Gloria for the night and gave a wonderful rendition of ‘’ One day at a time ‘’, To the Browns i.e. Mrs Agnes Brown played by Maura Faughnan, Grandad by Michael John Faughnan, Rory by Irene Daly and Winnie by Ella Gannon  ,all had us in stitches. The finale was Pope Francis played by Peggy O’ Rourke who’s handle on a mixture of Latin and Italian had us all transfixed,  Her /His final Blessing left many guests a bit damp.  It was a night of laughter and fun  and we hope everyone enjoyed the ‘’craic’’.  We are all off to Bundoran in a few weeks where the fun continues!
