There will be Mass and Exposition in  Drumsna Church at 7pm on Friday evening January 26th.This Mass is for  the Late Maggie Reilly. Holy Hour Duty Ella Gannon

Church Collectors for January Paddy Guckian, Padraig Dunne,  Altar Society Carmel Glancy; Geraldine Duignan.

The records for the Mass collection boxes / numbers are being upgraded at the moment and Parishioners are asked to please write their name on their existing envelopes for the next few weeks. If you need a box contact any Parish council member.

Social Dancing.

There will be social Dancing  in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge  Mohill on Sunday Night January 28th with dancing to Gerry Keenan. Apologies for the cancellation last week due to a bereavement.


Bingo  in Drumsna on Thursday night January 25th at 8.30pm.Winners from last week include ,Linda Duignan, Paula Casey, Mary Cox,. Raffle Rosemary Casserly, Maura Mahon, Ellen Gibbons..  Free books for Thurs Jan 18th,Noel Reynolds, Anna Mc Govern  .

Golden Age Meeting.

There will be a meeting of the above on Wednesday week January  31st at 11am in the Centre Drumsna. Apologies for the cancellation of the last meeting due to weather conditions. New members are very welcome. Up for discussion will be the programme for the Spring/Summer months also the Annual Holiday in May. Our Bealtaine Ball will be the next  night out in The Bush Hotel and that is on  Tuesday night May 1stwith entertainment and dancing to The Drifting Cowboy.






Sympathy is extended to Bernie Gill,Fred and Family Drumnacott and to Patricia O’ Reilly, Gerry and family Glebe on the death of their brother Frank Hartigan , Boston U.S.A. also to Frank’s wife Lily (Nee Scollan), Drumshanbo, son Fran, daughters Beth  and Maureen , Grandchildren ,sons-in-law, daughter –in-law, brothers Oliver, John, P.J. sisters Margaret, Pansy Kitty and Colette, relatives and friends. Frank was interred in Boston after his funeral Mass on Tuesday.

Sympathy is also extended to Sinead, Maire, Conor and  Cian Ward , Corduff on the death of their father Tony Ward. The late Tony who  was predeceased by his wife Peggy some years ago, was interred in St. Mary’s Annaduff after his Funeral Mass in The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Drumsna on  Tuesday.

I am sure both Frank and Tony are enjoying the great comhaltas in the Sky of which they were both staunch members , Frank ,the Boston Hannify-Cooley Branch and Tony Drumsna Branch.

May their souls rest in Peace
