Social Dancing.

There will be social dancing  in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge Mohill  on Sunday night March 26th with music by Gerry Keenan .

Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna on Thursday night  March 16th. Last week’s winners included Martina Tully, Gerry O’ Reilly,  Raffle Percy  Ffrench, Geraldine Monaghan, Maria Guihan.   Free books for Thursday March  23rd  Mary Mc Tiernan, Mona Foley.

Golden Age Holiday/Meeting.

The next meeting of the Golden Age group in the centre Drumsna will be on Wednesday April 5th at 11am. There will be a practice on that Wednesday for our Bealtaine play ‘’Do you come here often?’’ which is set in the Ballroom of Romance. We will be performing it at the May Madness Ball in the Bush Hotel Carrick on Tuesday May 2nd with music by Jambalya so put that date in your  diary for a night of fun and madness.

Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre.

We are currently taking names for an introduction to a container gardening planning course. The classes will commence in March and run on Tuesdays from 10am until 2pm. for 5 weeks. St Patrick’s Day.

The Annual Traditional Mass in Drumsna for deceased members of Drumsna Comhalthas was celebrated  by Fr, John Wall P.P. at 9.30am.on St. Patrick’s morning with procession, music ,Coupla focail  and singing by Fionnuala Maxwell and the children’s choir. Well done to all who took part in the procession of gifts, singing , music, and dancing.  The Annual St. Patrick’s night  Drumsna C.C.E. fundraiser took place in Mc Loughlin’s Lounge Drumsna on the night and thanks is extended to Teasie and Tommie ,all who attended and contributed, made sandwiches ,gave raffle prizes etc . The hamper was won by Clare Bohan, the bottle of whiskey Caroline Doyle , Chocolates Kate O’ Reilly. The next youth session  is on Friday April 21st from 8pm until 10 pm.

Computer course.

A part time beginners computer class ( fetec level 3 ) and improvers class ( fetec level 4) will commence on Monday March 20t at Drumshanbo enterprise  Centre.
