Social Dancing.

There will be social dancing  in Fitzpatrick’s Mohill on Sunday night January 29th  with music by Glenside Country.

Maggies 101st Birthday.

The villages oldest resident Maggie Reilly will be 101 next week  and there will be a party in Duignan’s Lounge on Friday February 3rd to celebrate this great occasion. Music is by Jambalya and everyone is welcome to come along and celebrate. Maggie is in great form thank God and looking forward to singing a bar or two and to dancing the night away. Please take this as your invite and help this great lady have a memorable night.
Sliabh an Iarann Players.

The Mohil based Sliabh an Iarann players under the direction of Frank Cadam will once again take to the stage in 2017 with more top class drama. We would like to invite anyone interested in being part of a successful Drama group or anyone interested in learning a craft, how to act ,design sets, lighting sound and everything else that goes into staging a  successful production to join us for the coming year.

Drama helps build your confidence and gives you the chance to meet some great people. Our aim is to provide top class drama combined with good comerardrie for everyone involved. Sympathy is extended o Eileen and Tommy Bourke and family and to the Mc Kenna Family Jamestown on the death of Eileen’s mother Mrs Mary Mc Kenna ,Castlemaine Co Kerry. The late Mrs Mc Kenna who is survived by her husband John ,sons daughters, grandchildren relatives and friends was interred on today  Wednesday .

May her soul rest in peace.Amen.

There will be a Mass for the late Mrs Mc Kenna in St. Bridget’s Church Dangan at a date to be arranged.

Aughawillan Drama Troupe.

The Aughawillan Drama Troupe are presenting the sinfully hilarious play ‘’ Drinking
Habits’’ by Award winning playwright Tom Smith . This comedy will be performed for your entertainment on the 9,10, 11th, and 12th of February in Aughawillan Hall at 8.30pm sharp.
