Social Dancing

There will be dancing  in  Duignan’s Lounge  Drumsna on Friday October 23rd   with music by The Drifting cowboy , and music on Sunday night October  25th by Mark Finn.

Bingo.

Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna on this Thursday October 22nd  at  8.30pm. Last week’s winners include  Martina Tully, Sharon Mc Tiernan. Raffle Ann Beirne Patricia O’ Reilly, Marie Cassidy . Free books  Maura Bohan, Patricia Beirne.

Golden Age Meeting.

Annaduff G.A.A. Strictly come Dancing.

Forget Daniel O’ Donnell and Kristina Rihanoff, our own dancers will rival their Fox Trots and Cha Cha Chas! Training has commenced and excitement is building in the run-up to the big night which takes place in The Landmark Hotel ,Carrick on Friday night November 27^th. A brilliant night is guaranteed so get your tickets in time and support your local Dancer.

Basket Making.

A basket making course will take place in the Centre Drumsna this Autumn in conjunction with the Mayo./ Sligo/ Leitrim Education and Training Board. For further information contact 071 9625782.

Volunteers  Needed.

A new meals on wheels service is now operating from the Drumsna Community and resource Centre. We are looking for volunteers to help deliver hot meals to those in @071 9625782.

A.G.M.

Drumsna Development Association Ltd., A.G.M. will take place this evening Wednesday in the Centre at 6.30pm. All are welcome.

Drumsna 5Km Fun Run.

We would like to sincerely to thank everyone who took part in our first Annual 5K fun run. A total of 1,450 Euro was raised for the Centre. We are truly humbled by the generosity and support from the Community.

We would like to thank our organising Committee, route planners, race sponsors, stewards, race director, photographers, registration team, and race timers. Also to the Gardai and the Order of Malta for their presence. To the many many people who got involved and helped out on the day . We can’t thank you enough.

A very special thank you to the wonderfully talented children from Annaduff National School for their beautiful art work and of course to the Principal and teachers from the school.

We would also like to acknowledge and thank our local County Councillors Cllr Sinead Guckian, Cllr Seadhna Logan, Cllr Finola Armstrong -Mc Guire, Cllr Des Guckian for their contributions and presence on the day.

Children’s Disco.

There will be a children’s Disco in Annaduff  Community Centre on this Friday night October 23^rd from 8pm until 10pm.admission 3Euro All are welcome.
