The National Eucharistic Congress takes place at Knock Shrine on the 26^th -27^th of September.

Social Dancing

There will be dancing  in  Duignan’s Lounge  Drumsna on Friday September  18^th with music by Mountain fever  and on Sunday night  September 20th in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge  Mohill with music  by  Glenside Country.

Bingo.

Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna on this Thursday September 17th  at 9pm. Last week’s winners include Ann  Beirne, Phil Moran, Sharon Mc Tiernan  , Rafffle Mary Mc Tiernan, . Free books Lynn Reynolds, Mary Geheran.

Golden Age Meeting.

The next Golden age meeting is on Wednesday September 23^rd at 11am in the Centre Drumsna.

North West Hospice Coffee Morning.

A coffee morning will take place in the Community Centre Drumsna on this Thursday morning  September 17th . All proceeds go to the North West Hospice and your support will be greatly appreciated.

Set Dancing.

Computer Training.

FETAC Level 3 computer training course will take place this Autumn in conjunction with the Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim Education and Training Board, Foe more information please contact the Drumsna Community Resource Centre at 071 96 25782.

Occupational First Aid.

We are now taking names at the Drumsna centre from people who wish to take part in Occupational first aid training QQ1 levels. For more information or to book a place contact the centre at 071 97 25782.

5K Fun/ Run /Walk.

Drumsna Development association Ltd., are currently planning a 5 Km fun/ run/ walk. Our proposed date is Sunday the 11^th of October. Anyone who wishes to become involved in the organising of this event  or who can help out in any way is asked to contact the centre @ 96 25782. This is a fundraising event and all proceeds go to the Community and resource centre to help provide vital services to the community.

Computer Course.

QQ 1 level  5 computer course starting in October at computer training in the Mohill Enterprise Centre on the Ballinamore Road. Allowances  available. Call 071 9632024 or check them on face book

Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre.

Drumshanbo Enterprise Centre Autumn classes will commence on the week starting Monday  September 21^st. There will be an improvers Computer class  ( QQ 1fetac level 4 ) and beginners class ( QQ1 fetec level 3 ). Courses are funded by  Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim Enterprise Boards. Volunteers Needed.

Are you a good listener? Want to lend an ear? We are looking for volunteers to support, carers ,relatives and friends who are caring for people who have a mental health illness. We ask anyone with a genuine desire to reach out to a carer who needs emotional support to please apply. Experience of supporting or caring for a family member, relative or friend with mental  health difficulties is valuable but not essential.  This new project, the Carers Liaison and support service  ( CLASS) is a joint project between the carers association and  Sligo Leitrim and South Donegal. Table Quiz.

Annaduff Bord na N-og are holding a table quiz in Taylor’s bar Drumsna on Friday September 18^th starting 9.30 sharp to raise funds to purchase the Annaduff  G.A.A. kit for the U 6 boys who joined the club this year. Tables of 4 are 40 Euro, some great prizes are up for grabs and it will be a fun night and an opportunity for those who are new to the area to get to know everyone. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the mothers who voluntarily took turns to facilitate the tea and coffee at the training sessions each Saturday. We would also like to thank the parents for putting in the effort to take their children to the Saturday morning sessions. The feedback we have been receiving from the parents is very positive.

Church Gate Collection.

There will be a Church Gate Collection n Aid of the Simon Community on Saturday/Sunday Sept 19^th/ 20^th at Annaduff and Drumsna Churches.The North West Simon Community are currently assisting and supporting 30 families in Co. Leitrim.Your support would be greatly appreciated as the Charity  currently receive NO government funding.

Flute and Whistle classes.

Wedding Bells.

Heartiest congratulations are extended to Aine Mc Loughlin Lismoyle House , Drumsna and Tomas Mahon, Tibohine, Ballaghdereen, on their  recent wedding on Saturday September 5^th 2015. Aine and Tomas were married in St. Mary’s Church Annaduff  with  Father John Wall P.P. as the celebrant. The wedding reception for family and friends on a bright and sunny day was held in the Raddison Hotel Sligo and was enjoyed by all. We wish Aine and Tomas a long life ,happiness and success.
