National Eucharistic Congress.

The National Eucharistic Congress takes place at Knock Shrine on the 26th -27th of September.

Lough Derg.

Social Dancing

There will be dancing  in  Duignan’s Lounge  Drumsna on Friday September  11th with music by Mountain fever  and on Sunday night  September 13th in Fitzpatrick’s Lounge  Mohill with music by Andy Murphy. .

Bingo.

Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna on this Thursday September 10th  at 9pm. Last week’s winners include Helen Cullen, Eileen O’ Brien , Rafffle, Sharon Mc Tiernan, Charles Beirne, Anna Mc Govern. Free books  Martina Tully, Gerry Rynn.

Golden Age Meeting.

The Golden Age meetings resume on to-day Wednesday September 9th in the Centre Drumsna at 11am. If you would like to join our active age group just come along on the day and you will be made very welcome to join in our activities, outings, etc.

North West Hospice Coffee Morning.

Would you like to join in with Ireland’s biggest Coffee /tea morning and help raise funds for the North West Hospice? It takes place on September 17th and all funds raised locally stay local  and go to the North West Hospice. Thanks to Bewleys the National supporter of Ireland’s biggest Coffee morning all coffee is provided free to organisers. Set Dancing.

G.A.A./ Parsh Lotto.

There was no winner of  the G.A.A. /Parish lotto held in Taylor’s pub Drumsna on Sunday night August 30th. The numbers drawn were 7 ; 8 ; 18 ; 21 . The winner of the 50 Euro prize was Brian Reynolds Bornacoola. The winners of the lucky dip are as follows, Kevin Fitzpatrick, Meave Cronin, Ronan Conroy, Attracta Millar. The next draw is in The Brandywell, Dromod with a jackpot of 3,200 Euro.

Congratulations.

Congratulations and well done to Rosaleen Lynch, Gortinty and Drumsna C.R.C. on winning numerous awards for baked goods, jam and preserves both at the recent Mohill and Elphin shows. The management and staff at Drumsna Community and resource Centre together with all the service users are incredibly proud of
Rosaleen and her achievements.

Computer Course.

Diocesan Pilgrimage  

The Diocesan Pilgrimage to knock on Sunday last was a proud day for Fr John Wall and his parishioners . The Parish of Annaduff was represented at the Mass which was celebrated by Bishop Francis Duffy by readers Clare Fitzpatrick and Niall Daniels, the Prayers of the Faithful were read by Bernie Daniels, Colleen Guckian, Irene Beirne, Thechla Mc Loughlin,  Eamonn Moffitt, and Liam Faughnan. The gifts were brought up by Katherine , Eugene, Leonie and Kirstin Mc Kiver, and the Rosary was recited by Myra Reynolds and Pat Reid. The Basilica was resplendent  with it’s wonderful new seating by Duignan’s of Dromod . Well done to all concerned.
