There will be a special Irish themed Mass in Drumsna on Sunday next April 27th to celebrate the opening of the County Fleadh. The readers for the Mass are Fionnuala Maxwell, Edwina Guckian. Ministers Geraldine Monaghan, Colleen Guckian. Offertory procession Aibhlinn Maxwell, Orlaith Guckian, Eimear Quigley, Antonette Mc Guinness, Liam Taylor Jnr, Micheal O’ Dowd.
Father John Wall P.P. will bless a special commemorative stone outside of Mc Loughlin’s Drumsna immediately after the Mass approx 10.15. just before the official opening of the Fleadh.
Bingo
Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna on this Thursday night April 24th at 9pm. Last week’s winners included Patricia Beirne, Josephine Creegan. County Fleadh
The County fleadh will be held in Drumsna this year from Friday the 25th of April until Sunday the 27th this includes entries for all instruments ,singing, comhra Gaeilge, duets, trios, all solo and dancing teams, bands and grupai ceoil. There are six comhaltas branches in Co. Leitrim, please ensure that you are a registered member of a branch.
A special memorial stone is to be Blessed by Father John Wall P.P. Annaduff and unveiled by Maureen Mc Nabola, Maureen Quigley and Phillip Duignan on Sunday morning approx 10 .15am. April 27immediately after a special traditional Mass in Drumsna (9.30am,) commemorating the founding members of Drumsna Comhaltas as well as members past and present and all competitors and visitors to the Fleadh.
Golden Age Meeting
There will be a Golden Age meeting in the Centre Drumsna on Wednesday next April 16th at 11am. Practise for the Bealtaine play will take place and all taking part are requested to attend. All money for the holiday in Killarney is now due, and bookings are closed , please give money to Maura Faughnan 96 24540 as soon as possible to secure your place.

Adult Painting classes in oils/acrylics with Noreen Gaffney in Drumsna community Centre on Tuesdays are now full .

D.D.A. Easter Draw
The Drumsna Development Association Annual Easter draw took place in Taylor’s Drumsna on Saturday night last. The winner of the 1st prize of a Hamper was Councillor John Ward Annaduff, the 2nd prize of 75 Euro was won by Michael Reynolds`,Bunnymore, 3rd prize of a voucher foe Paul Byrons Noel Duignan Drumsna ,4thprize a bottle of whiskey Fiona O ‘ Connell, Drumsna. Thanks to all those who supported the draw and to Liam Taylor for hosting the night and for sponsoring the whiskey.
