Church News.
There will be Mass in Drumsna on Friday March 21st at 7pm followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Holy hour duty Kathleen Reynolds and Bernie Gill. The Stations of the Cross will be given out before the 7pm Mass on Friday for the duration of Lent

If you would like to become a Minister of the Word or Minister of the Eucharist or would like to spend an hour at Exposition on Friday evening please give in your name to either sister Bridget, Sister Una or any Minister. New lists will be drawn up shortly.
Bingo
Bingo continues in the Centre Drumsna on Thursday night at 8.30pm. Last week’s winners included Liz Hughes, Phil Moran, Raffle Geraldine Bohan, Patricia O’Reilly x 2, Free Books Margaret Charles and Charles Beirne.
St Patrick’s Night.
The County fleadh will be held in Drumsna this year from Friday the 25th of April until Sunday the 27th. Closing date for entries is March 28th, this includes entries for all instruments ,singing, comhra Gaeilge, duets, trios,all solo and dancing teams, bands and grupai ceoil. There will be strictly no late entries. All competitors must be printed in the Fleadh booklet. There are six comhaltas branches in Co. Leitrim, please ensure that you are a registered member of a branch. Fleadh entries can be forwarded to Maura Murphy to Fleadh Secretary ,087 2992449. Bereavement Course.

Golden Age Meeting.
There will be a Golden Age meeting in the Centre Drumsna on Wednesday next March 19th at 11am. Practise for the Bealtaine play and dance will take place.

Tidy Towns Competition.
It is that time of year again when our village prepares for the Tidy towns competition. If you would like to get involved please come along to our meetings which are held in the Community Centre on the second Tuesday of each month.
NHA/SAC meeting.
There will be a Public meeting of the National Heritage Association /Special Areas ofConservation in Bornacoola Community Centre on Monday night March 24th at 9pm. Jim Higgins M.E.P. , and Local Councillors will attend.

The great character play ‘’Big Maggie’’ by John B. Keane will be presented by the Sliabh an Iarainn players in the following venues. Table Quiz.
Leitrim Irish Draught Horse Breeders Association are hosting a table quiz on Friday Mach 28th at 8.30pm in Casey’s Bar Mohill. Tables of four players. Great prizes, refreshments will be served. Everyone welcome.
Country Music and Dancing.
Peter and Josephine Mc Loughlin, Mohill present a night of Country music and dancing in aid of the Alzheimer’s unit and patient comfort fund St. Patrick’s hospital , Carrick-on-Shannon in the Landmark Hotel on Monday night April 28th. Artists appearing include Kieran Rosney-‘’Willie’s Shoes’’ Jane Mc Namee, Matt Leavy, Kathy Durkin, John Farry, Trudi Lawlor, Simon Casey, Vicky Kenny, Trevor Moyles, Eunice Moran ,Seamus Moore, ‘’JCB Man’’. G.A.A. / Parish Lotto.
There was no winner of the G.A.A./ Parish lotto held in Cox’s Steak house on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 3; 12 ; 13 ;22. The winner of the 50 Euro prize was Annie Mc Loughlin. The winners of the lucky dip are as follows; Megan Reynolds, Hannah Reynolds, Rose Notley and Henry Gawley. The next draw is in Mc Loughlins Drumsna with a jackpot of 6,600. Euro.
