Church News.
There will be mass in Drumsna on Friday Feb 21st evening at 7pm followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Holy hour duty Regina Mc Nabola and Teresa Guckian.
9.30am. Mass Sunday February 23rd Reader Niall Daniels, Ministers Katherine Mc Kiver and Niall Daniels.
If you would like to become a Minister of the Word or Minister of the Eucharist or would like to spend an hour at Exposition on Friday evening please give in your name to either sister Bridget, Sister Una or any Minister. New lists will be drawn up shortly.
Bingo
Apologies to all our patrons for the cancellation of our Bingo session on Thursday night last due to weather conditions. Bingo as usual on this Thursday night February 20th at 8.30pm.
Co Leitrim Fleadh.
The County fleadh will be held in Drumsna this year from Friday the 25 th of April until Sunday the 27th. Drumsna C.C.E. will be busking at Tesco Carrick-on-Shannon this Saturday from 1pm until 3pm. If you would like to come along please do. All monies collected go towards the hosting of the Co. Fleadh.
Art with Noreen.
Annaduff I.C.A. are starting Art/painting classes with Noreen Gaffney in Drumsna community Centre on Monday February 24th at 8pm.
Bereavement Course.
A bereavement course will be held in the family life centre Lonford beginning Wednesday March 5th at 8pm. Duration 6 weeks. For booking and further details contact 043 3346837/ 087 2843034.
Lourdes Fund.
The sick pilgrim to Lourdes fund Church gate collection in Annaduff/Drumsna came to 472 Euro 47 cent. Thanks is extended for your generosity.
G.A.A./Parish Lotto.
There was no winner of the G.A.A. /Parish lotto held in Duignan’s Drumsna on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 4 ; 6 ; 14 ; 19. The winner of the 50 Euro prize was Colin Mc Hugh. Winners of the lucky dip are as follows, Emer Cox, John Mc Namara, Rose Mc Weeney, Ciaran Gannon. The next draw is in Taylor’s bar Drumsna with a jackpot of 6.400 Euro.
World Day of Prayer.
The International and Interdenominational World Day of Prayer takes place on Friday March 7th. This year the Service for this area is in St. Georges Church Carrick-on-Shannon at 8pm . The service is prepared by the Christian Women of Egypt. Men and Women of all denominations are welcome to attend.Members of Drumsna Annaduff Golden age group including Ruth Waller who will be playing the organ and members of Annaduff I.C.A. together with others will be taking part in the ceremonies. Everyone is welcome . Refreshments will be served in St. Georges Heritage centre afterwards .
