Christmas choir
Thanks is extended to Imelda Gaffney and the Christmas choir of musicians and singers at the Christmas Masses in Drumsna, to Ella Gannon, Margaret Mc Guire and Colleen Guckian for the festive décor of the Church, to the youth club (Foroige) who bought the tree and decorations and to all who helped out at Christmas Reading, serving, collecting etc.

Bingo re-commences in Drumsna on Thursday January 9th 2014. The free books for Jan 9th go to Aaron Rynn and Mary Geheran. Thanks to all our supporters wishing them a happy and lucky New Year.

St Stephen’s day Walk.
The organising committee of the Annaduff /Drumsna Church fund raising walk on St. Stephen’s day would like to say a big thank you to all those who helped out to make it such a success. The I.C.A. ladies for the catering, all who donated spot prizes and of course all of the walkers for their donations which came to 1,030 Euro to date.
Race Night.
Annaduff G.A.A. are hosting a race night in Cox’s Steak House , Dromod on Saturday night January 18th. Full tote facilities available, owner horse and jockey 20euro race sponsorship 50euro. Wedding Bells.
Congratulations and best wishes are extended to Evie Guckian youngest daughter of Teresa and Paddy Guckian, Cornagulla and John Russell of Co. Tipperary on the occasion of their marriage in the Church of the Immaculate Conception Drumsna on Monday December 30th. Father John Wall P.P. Annaduff was the Celebrant, Bridesmaids were Geraldine Ward, Carmel Charles, Best man Paul Russell, Groomsmen Ken Morley, Kyle Russell, Flowergirl Aoibhe Charles, Pageboys Callum Russell, Jake Charles, music Fionnuala Maxwell. Evie and John celebrated afterwards with their families and friends at Lough Rinn Castle hotel , Mohill. We wish them the best of luck and happiness in their future together.

The first meeting of 2014 takes place in the centre Drumsna on Wednesday January 15th at 11am. on the agenda is the Christmas DVD, Bealtaine, Festival and the Summer Holidays.

The Drumsna Foroige club have their January meeting in the Centre Drumsna at 7pm on Wednesday January 15th.
G.A.A./ Parish Lotto.
There was no winner of the G.A.A./ Parish lotto held in Taylors Drumsna on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 12 ; 20 ; 23 ; 24. The winner of the 50 Euro prize was Doireann Mc Donagh, the winners of the luck dip are as follows Sean Quigley, Siobhan Beirne, John T. Jason and Brenda Ward. The next draw is in Mc Loughlin’s Drumsna with a jackpot of 6,100 Euro.
