Sunday   is also Mission Sunday and Sisters Bridget and Una of Our Lady of The Missions will be speaking at all Parish Masses this weekend. There will be a second collection after Communion to assist their Missionary work

Found.

A child’s handbag was found in Annaduff Church on Sunday September 22^nd with pictures of First Communion day in Drumsna in it. It is available in St. Mary’s Church Annaduff after any of the Masses.

Golden Age meeting.

There will be a Golden Age meeting in the Centre Drumsna on Wednesday at 11am. Gentle exercises, Chat ,drama etc. New members very welcome to come along.

G.A.A./Parish lotto.

There was no winner of the G.A.A. Parish |Lotto held in Duignan’s Drumsna onSunday night last .The numbers drawn were 2 ; 4 ; 23 ; 24..The winner of the 50 Euro was Rhys Glancy. The winners of the lucky dip are as follows Aisling Cox, Alan Rowley, John Ward, Michael Mc Gowan. The next draw is in Taylor’s Bar Drumsna with a jackpot of 5,600 Euro.

Art For Beginners

Floral Pride.

Congratulations to the village  of Drumsna on gaining second prize in their category in the 2013 Leitrim Co. Council Floral  Pride Competition. Drumsna have won prizes in this competition each year since it commenced some time  ago. Well done to the hard working committee and to James Brogan and his band of men who help keep the place in such good order.
