Bingo continues in the Community Centre Drumsna on Thursday night at 8.30pm.Last week’s winners included Mel Rowley, Patricia Beirne, Lily Duignan. Raffle, Peter Reynolds, Marian Casserly, Margaret Mc Guire. Free Books Chris Murray; Marie Brown.

Golden Age meeting.

There will be a meeting of the above on Wednesday November 14^th at 11am. all members are requested to attend.

Youth fishing Open day.

The Leitrim Youths Course fishing club are holding an open day on Sunday next at Albert Lock which is just outside of Drumsna on the Kilmore road. The winter League is currently being held at Albert Lock for  U10s, U 14s, U 18s, this is an ideal location for such an event. The Club in it’s short time in existence have been promoting youth fishing with four of its members making the Irish teams to represent Ireland at International level in France next year at the World Championships and also the Celtic cup in Wales. This a wonderful way  of helping young anglers how to fish and to understand the value of our waterways.

Coaching on the day will be given by the current Irish International angler and NCFFI/ACI registered Coach Brian Bohan. The course commences at albert lock at 10am with fishing from 11am until 2pm. for further details contact Gene@ 087 923 8114, Peter @ 086 806 1678 ,Brian @ 087 4124851.
