Bon Fire Night.
The weather was a bit damp on Saturday night June 23rd but it did’nt dampen the enthusiasm of the young traditional musicians, dancers and singers who performed at the harbour bon –fire Drumsna. There was a great turn out of spectators also and fair play to them all for braving the rain and enjoying the entertainment and refreshments. Thanks is extended to Raymond Mc Hugh for supplying the firewood, to Gabriel Duignan , Gary Bohan and Kevin Ludlow for transportation of the chairs etc. to Noel Duignan who kept the fire under control to Sinead Guckian , Fionnuala Maxwell and Edwina Guckian for arranging the food, canopies , candles and the ‘’sessiun’’and to all who helped out and last but by no means least to all of the wonderful people who came along to make the night enjoyable.
