Tidy Towns Report (cont )

The Drumsna community Resource Centre is a very good modern building which respects the scale and character of the older buildings in the Street. The semi mature trees planted in the footpath out shots looked well. The Catholic church is extremely well presented with it’s backdrop of mature trees. The old National school at the roundabout at the entrance to the village is really well worth preserving. The new buildings at the junction of Crow hill are designed to fit in with the streetscape  generally and form a good corner . We loved the ‘’The Swimmer’’ at the quay are and the green Anthony Trollope signs looked well. The street furniture throughout the village also looked well. You have made a big effort on the use of Irish language in the village.
