9.30 Mass on Sunday May 29^th, Reader Thomas Duignan,  Ministers, Barry Guckian; Grainne Fagan.

Training for New Ministers and readers in the Parish took place in St. Mary’s Church Annaduff on Tuesday last May 24th at 8pm. It is hoped to have the new lists out as soon as possible.

AIB Choral Society.

An evening of uplifting Gospel and Sacred Music with the AIB Choral Society, Musical director Elizabeth Hilliard , Accompanist and Soloist Judith Gannon and special guests Windsong Harp Ensemble takes place in St. Georges Church Carrick, on Saturday night May 28^th at 8pm. The proceeds go to the restoration of the Church’s Telford organ. Tickets are 15 Euro.Your support would be appreciated.

All Ireland Rosary Rally.

All Ireland Rosary Rally takes place at Knock Shrine on Saturday June 4^th commencing at 2.30pm. with anointing of the sick. Mass will be led by Most Rev Brendan Kelly, D.D. Bishop of Achonry Diocese, followed by Eucharistic healing Blessing. The family rosary takes place after Mass as well as songs of praise.The Image of Our lady of Nations will be displayed on the Altar . Grateful thanks to Michael of Cork who instigated this Rally many years ago.

Drumsna Dev., Association.

The work meeting proposed for last Saturday was postponed due to the bad weather, although thanks is extended to some hardy souls who were seen out working away. The Annual Vintage and family day has been changed to Sunday June 19^th due to the wonderful news that Leitrim beat Sligo on Sunday last and will now play Roscommon in Pairc Sean on Sunday June 12^th . We still need all the help we can get for stewarding , manning the bouncy castles , helping at the childrens sports etc ., etc., If you can give us an hour or two please give your name to any committee member. There will be a meeting on Tuesday night May 31^st at 8pm.

Sympathy.

Sympathy is extended to Irene , Annie ,Delia and Norah ,daughters of the late Frank Lyons Drumsna, also to his sons- in-law, grand children, great grand children relatives and friends . Frank together with his late wife Irene came from England to live in Drumsna  some years ago after their retirement. They quickly made friends and became involved in village life. Frank never forgot his Galway roots and Irene proudly waved the Roscommon flag. We will miss our friendly neighbour but are glad that he is at peace and together with his beloved wife.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
