Retrouvaille is a programme to help married couples who are going through a difficult time in their relationship. The next programme takes place in Dublin on October 1st to October 3^rd. Group Water Scheme Meeting.

An important meeting of the Gortconnellen Group Water scheme will be held in Duignan’s lounge, Drumsna on this Thursday September 16^th at 8pm sharp. All householders in the group scheme are please requested to attend.

Sympathy.

Sympathy is extended to May and John William Beirne and family Headford on the death of John William’s brother Packie Eddie Beirne which took place in New Haven Conn. U.S.A. last week . The late Eddie is also survived by his wife Angela, daughter Yvonne Fitzgerald, son-in-law, brothers, sister, sisters-in-law, nieces ,nephews ,relatives and friends . The late Eddie Beirne was interred in New Haven after his funeral Mass on Saturday.

May his soul rest in peace Amen.

Ballycloran

The DVD of the locally produced film Ballycloran with sixty six local people including sixteen children starring in it is presently on sale for 10 Euro from Ella at 086 1516858 or Colleen at 087 7670788. Proceeds go to next year’s Anthony Trollope Summer School.

Golden age.

The next meeting of the above is on Tuesday September 28^th in the community centre Drumsna at 11am . All members are requested to attend . On the agenda are classes, talks etc for the coming weeks , also the Christmas party which is in The Bush Hotel , on Sunday December 5^th and the rehearsals for our usual bit of drama for the interval . It is an informal get together after the Summer break and everyone is welcome to come along. .

Ruby Wedding

Congratulations and best wishes are extended to Lily and Percy Ffrench Rhue, Jamestown, on the occasion of their fortieth Wedding Anniversary which they celebrated with family and friends at the weekend , and wishing them both many more happy years of wedded bliss.
