Mass times.
There will be mass in Drumsna on Friday evening August 6th ( First Friday ) at 7pm followed by Exposition of the Blessed sacrament, Holy hour duty Katherine Mc Kiver ; Padraig Dunne. Mass on Sunday at 9.30am Reader / Minister Ella Gannon .

Congratulations to Leitrim Ladies minor football team who had a great win over Fermanagh recently winning the All Ireland Minor B Sheild, also to Michelle Guckian Drumgownagh on winning Player of the match .
Sympathy.
Sympathy is extended to the Cronogue Family on the death of Mrs Margaret Cronogue Cara Court Carrick-on-Shannon and late of Drumsna. Mrs Cronogue is susvived by her sons John and Paul ,Daughter Betty , son-in-law daughters –in-law ,grand children , brother,sister-in-law relatives and friends.
May her soul rest in peace.
Bingo.
Bingo continues in The Community centre Drumsna on Thursday nights with first call at 9pm. Last week’s winners were Jimmy Bohan ,Peggy O Rourke ,Colleen Guckian. The winners of the raffle , Majella Reynolds , Colm Murray, Oisin Boland. The free books Eileen O Brien Finisklin , Marjorie Wilcock Ardlogher.
Unveiling.
The unveiling ceremony at Mc Garry Court Drumsna took place on Friday evening last commencing with Mass at 7pm celebrated by father John Wall, P.P. Annaduff. The congregation together with the Daly family , relations, friends and neighbours then moved to the unveiling of the beautiful plaque inset in a cut stone wall at Cuirt Ni Fhearaigh, ( Mc Garry Court ) .Fr. Wall was joined by Drumsna native Fr Frank Garvey for the Blessing ,Dermot Daly youngest son of Maire and Seamus performed the unveiling. Pat Daly then gave a most moving speech as he told the story of his mother’s coming Drumsna to marry his father Tom Daly,and her sad death fifty years ago . He praised his late Aunt who came to look after himself and his brothers and sister and also the late Mrs Maggie Gralton who looked after the baby Seamus for some time,he then dedicated the memorial stone as a fitting tribute to her memory on the fiftieth anniversary of her death.

Strawbridge society.
The Strawbridge Society from America are paying a visit to Drumsna on Friday next August 6th at approximately 10.30am. They are touring historical , religious and other sites in Ireland and particularly want to visit Drumsna as it the birthplace of Robert Strawbridge who was born at Gortconlon in 1732.In attendance to meet with the delegation will be Father John Wall together with Rev Ruth Waller and others, and a surprise visit by Robert Strawbridge himself . Everyone is welcome to come along to meet with the association and to have a cup of tea in the Community Centre Afterwards .
