Golden Age Group Trip to Aras an Uachtarain
The trip to Arus an Uachtarain was a day to be remembered. The group were brought through some of the wonderful reception rooms before meeting The President and her Husband and being singly presented to both of them. They were then treated to a reception of food, music and song. Our own Maggie Reilly proudly sang for President Mc Aleese and received a rapturous reception, Maggie and Nuala Kennedy also ‘’shoed the donkey ‘’ in style in front of a receptive audience. There were lots of pictures taken before they said farewell and came down to earth on their way home.
